Simon’s Vintage Console Radio Repair Services:
Simon’s Vintage Radio Repair operates a full service radio repair shop that specializes in the repair of 40’s, thru 70’s tube and transistor radios of all makes and models, including 50’s, 60’s and some 70’s Console radios. The price for our Basic Radio Repair Process of the radio’s electronic components and chassis is provided below.
Console Repair:
All radios are repaired with expertise (See my Technical Background). The electrical repair price is based on the radio itself. (See below). All radios are workbench tested for several hours before being returned.
Console Repair Pricing:
Tube or Transistor Consoles – $220.00 plus parts.
90-Day Warranty on parts and workmanship of the repaired or replaced components. (Tubes not included).
CAUTION – Never plug in a radio that has been sitting for the past ten years! You may be shocked and damage the radio.
Additional Radio Repair Costs:
Radios that cannot be repair using the Basic Repair Process are considered problematic. Problematic radios may be missing components such as tube sockets, power transformer and other major such components vital to the radios operation. This usually requires the cost and installation of such components. A separate quotation for additional parts will be quoted to the customer and must be accepted before parts are obtained and additional radio repair work is performed.
